Following defeat in the Manchester derby the United forward headed to the O2 to see the battle of Gennady Golovkin against Kell Brook…from his front row vantage point.
After Manchester United were beaten at home against their local rivals City, one of their new stars, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, chose to spend the evening watching another battle…this one being even more emphatic.
Football isn’t everything for Ibra
The dominant middleweight fighter, Gennady Golovkin crushed Briton Kell Brook’s brave resistance leading to his corner throwing in the towel in the fifth round at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday and Zlatan was there to see it for himself. The big Swedish striker has spoken before of his enjoyment of many sports and boxing is no different.
Ibra took his place in the front row to watch the WBC and IBF title fight up close and after was pictured with the Kazakhstani victor.
